Our Watlow team members continue working hard to build the ULTRAMIC heater system at the heart of Vapotherm's life saving Precision Flow unit for COVID-19 treatment.
Watlow’s PM PLUS™, the enhanced EZ-ZONE® PM, is now more intuitive and features an enhanced interface for easier programming and readability with a SMOOTH-TOUCH™ keypad creating an industry leading user experience.
The PM PLUS is backwards compatible with legacy EZ-ZONE PM controllers but offers many user upgrades including an intuitive menu flow allowing the controller to be easily configured. It also continues to offer the industry leading Bluetooth® connectivity with the EZ-LINK™ mobile app for remote access capability and full descriptions of parameters and error codes. The PM PLUS improves the user experience by reducing the complexity at the front of the control while eliminating the dependency of cables when configuring the product.
Like the original EZ-ZONE PM, the PM PLUS can be ordered as a PID controller, or an integrated controller with multiple functions combined into one.
PM LEGACY™ Panel Mount Controller
The Watlow® LEGACY SERIES panel mount controller is an industry-leading PID controller that allows optimal performance utilizing simple control and menu functionality without complex features. It is ideally suited for basic applications and usage levels.
The LEGACY includes one universal input and an option for up to two outputs and is available in a 1/16 DIN panel mount package with a 1/32 DIN package coming soon. It can be ordered as a PID process controller or as a dedicated over and under-temperature limit controller.

ULTRAMIC® Advanced Ceramic Heaters
ULTRAMIC® advanced ceramic heaters are designed for clinical applications where electrical safety, smallsize, fast temperature ramprates and cleanliness are critical. Applications such as clinical diagnostic instrumentation and DNA analysis or respirators are an ideal match for ULTRAMIC’s capabilities.
FLUENT® In-Line Heater
Watlow’s new FLUENT® in-line heateris a small, lightweight, high-performance heater that can replace both a traditional immersion type heateror a heater wrapped around a tube as part of a thermal system. FLUENT® features an all stainless steel construction for a clean, non-contaminating heat source.
Polyimid - Heaters
Solvent - resistant polyimideis a thin, light weight organic polymer film that provides excellent tensile strength, tear resistance and dimensional stability. Watlow’s polyimide heater is used for DNA analysis equipment and clinical diagnostic instrumentation that require low out gassing in a vacuumor resistance to radiation, fungus and chemicals.
Silicone Rubber Heaters
Rugged, yetthin, lightweight and flexible, Watlow silicone rubber heaters put heat where it is needed to improve heat transfer, speed warm-ups and decrease watt age requirements. Fiberglass-reinforced silicone rubber provides dimensional stability without sacrificing flexibility. A minimal amount of material separates the element from the part to enable rapid and efficient heat transfer.
EZ‐ZONE® Integrated Multi‐Function Controller
Watlow’s family of EZZONE® integrated multifunction controllers combine temperature, process and machine control, over‐ and undertemperature limit protection, high amperage power switching, safety disconnects and field communications into a single package.
Offering a variety of modular form factors and display types in place of several components, the EZ‐ZONE is convenient and reliable.
Watlow multi‐function controllers are ideal for use in simple to complex applications, such as DNA processing. When data logging, data storage and communications are critical, multi‐function controllers provide primary and secondary temperature control with universal inputs, including thermistors.
EZ‐ZONE temperature controllers can be configured with an agency‐approved microprocessor temperature controller and limit in one package. Simple applications requiring one loop of control and one limit loop can be achieved in as small as a 1/16 DIN package size.
SERIES EHG® SL10 Process Controller and Safety Limit
The SERIES EHG® SL 10 process controller and safety limit is a powerful system that integrates a heater with an adjustable set point temperature controller, high/low temperature alert, a power switching device and a high temperature safety limit. The EHG SL 10 in‐line or sub‐panel mount temperature controller / limit is an ideal combination for any device requiring thermal management. Its small adjustable or fixed set point, precise temperature control with a built‐in agency approved controller / safety limit enables versatility across many applications.
Temperature Sensor Technologies
Achieving temperature sensor accuracy, repeatability and stability are key factors that determine how well an application performs. For some applications, such as measuring blood or body fluid temperatures, response to small changes in temperature is critical to patient health. Watlow thermal engineers combine deep knowledge of various applications with material science, thermodynamics, electrical properties and connectivity to develop sensors for specific medical applications.
The result is a sensor that consistently yields the best performance in medical device applications. Typically integrated with a Watlow heater for clinical diagnostic applications, Watlow sensor assemblies deliver fast, accurate and repeatable temperature measurement.
