Electronic Design & Development

Specialising in the design and development of embedded systems, we serve as a "behind-the-scenes" resource, helping you to turn your ideas and concepts into creative, innovative products and systems. Covering a broad spectrum of topics and interests, our design and development services are offered as a custom designed turn-key solution, or as individual design steps.

System Specifications

HW + SW DEVELOPMENT

Following analysis of the system requirements, we create a detailed hardware specification complete with calculations, schematics, layout and the associated production documents, test specifications and test plans.

We also design, implement & test software for embedded systems and technical software for PCs running MS-Windows or Embedded-Linux with the programming language based on the requirements of the project

PROTOTYPE PRODUCTION

The choice of manufacturer depends upon the technology involved, the volumes and quality level required, location, complexity, stocking and schedule requirements of the project.

We organise and support the entire production process with our network of highly qualified manufacturers to provide single piece, small and medium quantities up to and including large volume deliveries.

Industrialisation

Using the manufacturer of the prototypes (wherever possible) we organise the volume production using which helps reduce learning curves, build confidence and enhance quality levels.

This allows ideas and feedback from the manufacturer, or cost reduction opportunities (identified during testing) to be incorporated into a re-design of the device during the industrialisation process to achieve the "best-fit" for mass production.

Design & Consultancy Services

Our consulting services cover a broad spectrum of topics and interests so we will likely be able to assist you. Based on your specific requirements we will evaluate and assess various approaches and together with you identify the best solution for you. This may be a single element or a combination of services... all from one provider.

CONCEPT & TECHNOLOGY STUDIES

Our concept studies help to create ideas and evaluate the pros and cons of implementing those ideas; which in turn helps to minimise the likelihood of errors, manage costs, assess risks and evaluate the potential success of the intended project.

Technology studies combine the customer’s knowledge with the first ideas from Art of Technology, in order to precisely define the intended application, evaluate the best choice of technology and bring everyone involved to the same level

TECHNOLOGY SELECTION

Determining which technology will provide the best long-term value and meet your project needs, requires clearly defined requirements and a deep technical understanding of what is available.

We help you to choose the most appropriate technology for the project in relation to the initial outlay, development and production costs, as well as the associated risks and benefits.

DESIGN REVIEWS

Regular design reviews enable latent errors to be detected and corrected at an early stage, with minimal impact on costs. The result is fewer re-designs, less re-works, potentially significant savings in terms of time and costs and improved overall quality.

Our established Review Process is linked to a “bug-tracking” tool which allows transparent and continuous handling and tracking of identified issues, as well as documentation of corrective actions.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Fast professional help for critical projects where time schedules, goals and the success of the project are becoming increasingly uncertain.

We provide engineering support and people for routine or maintenance tasks, enabling your team to concentrate on the core activities of the project.
