While legitimate industry players have worked tirelessly to ensure medical device supplies throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, other, more nefarious, players have been taking advantage of the confusion – to the detriment of both patients and practitioners.

A surge of counterfeits have appeared on the market due to shortages of essential medical products and devices. But what do we really know about counterfeiting in the medical devices sector, and how can the industry play its part to tackle the problem? We find out.
