Custom Wire technologies (CWT)

was founded in 2003 as a contract manufacturer of reinforcement coils for the medical device industry and that remains a large part of its success today. Since the beginning, CWT has offered customized products and solutions for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and top OEMs alike.

W

ith years of experience in coil winding, wireforms and precision grinding services, CWT has the ability to take an idea from concept to reality. Using a wide range of materials and coatings to support prototype volumes as little as one piece, to production volumes of hundreds-of-thousands of pieces per year, CWT has earned its place as a trusted vendor of medical instrumentation for its customers.

In-house laser marking capabilities can add unique identifiers such as part numbers, lot numbers, descriptions, and company logos to a variety of parts. Depth band markings for guide wires, k-wires, and pins present visual feedback to an end-user on how far a component may be inserted.

As an extension of its full service offerings, CWT’s ISO Class 7 cleanroom provides unique and comprehensive manufacturing, assembly, and packaging capabilities. Products include custom guidewires, stylets, and specialized components for the medical, dental and surgical industries.

CWT’s culture is centered on the ability to efficiently deliver a quality product while providing an exceptional level of customer service. In the medical device industry, time is valuable, and quick communication is essential to the success of both CWT and ultimately its customers. The moment a request or inquiry is received, it is routed to the appropriate department to be addressed. Every customer, no matter their size, receives the greatest level of respect and dedication to successfully serve their needs. CWT takes tremendous pride in providing efficient and effective solutions that exceed customers’ expectations. It’s what sets them apart from the competition.
