Welcome to the latest issue of the Medical Technology magazine

In this month’s edition of Medical Technology, we look at the remote monitoring technologies emerging to meet the needs of patients with chronic conditions.

According to GlobalData’s Market Size and Growth database, the overall patient monitoring market was valued at around $18bn in 2023 and is forecast to reach a valuation of almost $24bn by 2033. The indication-specific mobile apps segment of the digital health market was valued at around $2.1m in 2023 and is projected to reach a valuation of around $10.7m by 2033.

We also explore how artificial intelligence is being used to personalise IVF treatment.  Research shows that AI has the potential to influence the optimisation and personalisation of key steps in IVF, including cycle monitoring, induction of oocyte (egg) maturation, and selection of the most competent gametes and embryos, to improve the overall efficacy and safety of ART.

All this and the latest medical device industry news, comment, and analysis from GlobalData.
